EL Blade Test
This is an ignited electro-luminescent (EL) blade, photographed by tyme exposure. Within the acrylic tube, a pair of EL wires illuminate when powered with the right current. To a fan who watched the first releases of the original Star Wars trilogies on the big screen, this simple scientific toy became an object of beauty.
