The Holocron of Boda Baas
To bring the sculpture to life, I enclosed the electronics from a board game called "Ask Zandar." I fed Zandar's crystal ball light effects into the translucent sculpture of the Boda Baas and repositioned the photo sensor above the head of the sculpture. When light to the photo sensor is interrupted--a wave of the hand for example--an electronic voice delivers a random quirky answer. Similar to a "Magic Eight Ball."
