My First Lightsabre
This lightsabre was sculpted in clay, molded and reproduced in wax, before being shell cast in silicon powder in preparation for the final aluminum piece.

The hilt is fitted with a phono to micro mini jack. The phono jack accommodates a 3/4" electro-luminescent blade while the micro mini jack supplies a line to an external power pack.

I really enjoy the free form of organic sculpture. I intend to make other hilts in the same style, making use of the newer LED technologies, diffusion materials for a 1" self contained blade.
