Alexandra and I physically met for the first tyme in this life on the 18th of July, 1997, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. When I first saw Alex I thought of an angel; all dressed in white, sun coloured hair, and purity and innocence sculpted into her face. Alex later confided to me that she felt like she was home when her gaze first met mine.

We celebrate the first day of that faithful visit as others would celebrate their wedding day. Forsooth, our commitment to each other was formed in those first four days of our meeting.
