I would like to introduce a concept; there is a difference between the English words naked and nude. These terms are commonly used interchangeably, yet they speak of two very different conditions.

Naked is when a person is consciously aware of her or his undressed state and is made uncomfortable by the experience. Out of shame and insecurity the Naked body seeks to clothe itself. Naked taken as a sound is unpleasant to the ear.

To be Nude is to be free. Intentionally without vestment or not, there is no concern, no shame in being Nude. Nude is not solely a state of being in this way but a state of mind as well. The sound of the word Nude is peaceful and deliberate.
