As of today Patrick has completed his intial storyboard. Using his still images he has set the panels of his story board to tyme and applied a scrap sound track to get a feel for the film.
I am trailing a bit with my own story board being only one fifth complete.
A musican friend of ours has expressed intrest in composing an orginal sound track for the film. (I am delighted in the prospect of extending our collaboration.)

When Thomas met Patrick
Patrick and I first met when we were sixteen. Shortly thereafter I became an admirer his limitless creativity and dedication to his art. Recently Patrick had shared with me a couple of CG animations that he had produced out of artistic need. I was impressed and mused how nice it would be to make a short film together, using both computer generated effects and live footage. One week later, Patrick suggested that we might make a film about a battle between two wizards.
We met and outlined a simple screen play. As an experiment. I suggested that we produce two separate story boards. I am interested to see how we interpret the same script, and hope to use the best elements from both our labors in the final film.
