Palpatine had prepared for the eventuality of his death
long before he would ever have need to. Inspired by ill-gotten knowledge
obtained from the holocron of slain Jedi
Master Ashka Boda, the Emperor established a personal
cloning facility on the ominous paradise world of Byss.
In his private cloning chambers, Clone Keepers
tended to Spaarti tanks repurposed
to grow genetic replicas of Emperor Palpatine. At the appearent point
of the Emperor's death, his vile life force was released to the void.
At that same moment, thousands of light years away, the eyes of one
the Emperor's young clones sprung open. The clone grinned as it stepped
out of the Spaarti tank. It was all that the astounished Clone Keepers
could to do to hide their horror. He had won. The Emperor was reborn,
