Ben Hawkins* takes a brief respite from the Carnivale, to serve in The Grand Army of the Republic as an ARC Trooper.
*The acclaimed HBO series Carnivale takes place in the 1930's in the wake of the American Dust Bowl famine. The show centres around the supernatural exploits of Ben Hawkins, who seems to be perpetually caked in a layer of dirt. When I saw the extreme weathering on this trooper's uniform, Ben was the first thing to come to my mind. (Perhaps I am the only one to find my captions entertaining.)
