Sabre of Darth Bane, sketch and technical illustrations This design is based on Darth Bane's lightsabre as illustrated by Ramon F. Bachs for Dark Horse Comic's Star Wars: Jedi vs. Sith. I submitted this draft to the mechanist at Ultra sabers. I intend to make a second lightsabre with a hooked handle, in keeping with the written descriptions Darth Bane's melee weapon. This second sabre will be of my own design. "I am not craven. I have done only what was required. Someone had to escape, so that the flames of dark lore would not be extinguished completely."
