Looking to expand the Sci-fi presence at the Flash Back Weekend convention, Klingon costumer Commodore marStoq zantai marStoqtuq, contacted the local Illnois chapter of the 501st Star Wars costuming club, the Midwest Garrsion. The invitation was posted on the Midwest Garrison's forum under the title Empire to Empire, referring to parallel between Star Trek's Klingon Empire and Star Wars's Galactic Empire. The title of the post evoked a sense of brotherhood in me and caused me to make this special logo to commemorate the event. The logo is flanked by the Klingon Trifoil, and the Imperial "Snowflake" respectively. The phase reads Empire/Empire in translated new Klingon—to the best of my understanding—and Imperial Script (Aurabesh.)
