Jedi-Con 2004 had an impressive and eclectic lineup of celebrities. I thought the varied guest list fitting of the varied talents enlisted in the continued creation of the Star Wars Universe. From right to left; Amy Allen (Aayla Secura, SW Episode II,) Steve Sansweet (Lucasfilm Archivist,) Aaron Allston (SW Expanded Universe author,) Hans Jensen and Richard Chasemore (gifted artists behind the incredible SW cross-section books,) Jay Laga'aia (Captain Typo, Sw Episode II,) and Alan Ruscoe (Plo Koon, Daultay Dofine, and Lott Dod, SW Episode I and II.) Jay Laga'aia proved
to be a captivating comedian, dividing the world into two groups;
himself (the handsome) and the rest of the world (the UGLY.) The comic
use of the word "UGLY" in his routine became an inside joke
for the remainder of the convention. Man
braucht nur ein Wort, diese Convention zusammenzufassen; "Ugly" |
