Xanthos was raw Force sensitivity was noted early on in his career as a Rebel Pilot, and he was accepted as a founding member of the Jedi Academy on Yavin IV. As both Jedi and Pilot, Xanthos became a powerful asset to the New Republic Defense Corps.
