I did not see this costume in person, but when I heard that a visitor from Germany had come to the convention as Grand Admiral Thrawn, I asked my friend Patrick for a photo. Grand Admiral Thrawn is an Expanded Universe character introduced by author Timothy Zahn in the novel Heir to the Empire. From other pictures I have seen on the Internet, this Grand Admiral Thrawn appears to be accompanied by a female officer in red-- possibly Ysanne Isard. It is good. Good for Expanded Universe characters to show solidarity. "But
