5th of May, 2002, Indianapolis. Photo from the last moments of the Star Wars Celebration II, just after the costume contest. The contest was a marathon for me, especially after not having slept the night before. Wiring the power source of my lightsabre through my gantlet meant that I had to hold my sabre in my left hand the entire day. Likewise was my right hand which was occupied by my Holocron. Slipping, contacts, oil-based skin paint, and heavy layers of fabric. By this late hour, I was quite ready to change into my street clothes! How I envied this young pilot's blissful slumber. You
