30th of November, 2002, Hamburg, Germany. Ray Park is well remembered for his action intense role as the late Sith apprentice Darth Maul. At this convention Ray commented on my lightsabre so I lent it to him to try it on. When I thought to to record the moment with my camera Ray quickly returned my sabre and said "No pictures please." When I inquired if there was a legal issue involved he responded; "No, I just do not like weapons." A good reminder that the actor is not necessarily the same as the character that he plays. The red eye in this image could have been corrected, but it seemed appropriate to leave it as is. Die
