These final costume sketches were made to help me realize the Clone Emperor's cloak. I made the patterns for this entire outfit from scratch, and was surprised at how well it all fit together. I left the finished cloak armless, so as to show off the marvelous fabric of the inner kimono sleeves. I weighted the trail of the cloak with strips of Buckram--the same fabric stiffener used in the collar. The resulting flow in the cloak proved to be everything a dark lord could wish for. You
