My adopted Omi, grandmother to my friend Eric , begifted me with a incredible tome of a book called The Secret Teachings of All Ages. Within its pages l first read of the hierarchy and philosophy attributed to Elementals. This fascinated me. Not that I actually attributed earthquakes to tiny men living in earth, but the relationships that could be drawn by dividing the whole of mankind's experience into five component elements struck a cord in me. I found the notion of each of the elements being embodied into fantastical creatures truly romantic and inspirational. In contemplation what the elementals meant to me, I coloured coded my entries in the pages of this book. I had many earth and many air days, some water, a few fyres, and on rare occasion there were experiences best described as spirit.
