Last year, I began creation of a wire form that was to become the basis for a Spirit Mask. Unfortunately, tyme constraints caused me to defer the project. Inspired again by the turning of the seasons, I picked up the project anew for Octobre 2004. The centre face is a fibre glass casting from my own visage. The smaller faces were first created in oil based clay, (I often sculpting while riding the train to and from work.) The individual faces were then molded in plaster, and slush cast in neoprene, a rigid latex material.
