When I first released Paralada.org I felt a need to create its own Master of Ceremonies. A mascot to greet the visitor and represent the current mood of the project. Each major update to the project has been accompanied by a special animation. I regard the splash screen to Paralada.org in the same way as my answering machine message; I try to keep it interesting, informative, and funny when possible.
