The bonus piece.

Off campus, a respected friend of mine had the brilliant idea to host weekly poetry readings. Rob, the host, called these special gatherings The Poetry Coven. The offerings of each Poetry Coven were unpredictable as they attracted both regular participants and transient speakers. I attended these with gleeful anticipation.

One evening at Rob's I presented those present with the puzzle portraits that I had gathered at that time. At the following week's Poetry Coven a man--I shall name him Don--presented me with this clever piece and declared that it to be an anonymous submission. I like it lotz, though when seen as a self portrait, it leans on the brutal side.
