Roger was a mentor of mine. He was my professor at the University I attended. As was my understanding, he was a renegade and I respected in his utter disdain for the internal politics of the school.

I remember Roger describing his own, rather singular muses; the insects he might encounter, or imagine into being. The idea of consulting insects for inspiration holds a certain drol charm and makes much sense to me.

It was through Roger that I first met Sarita , who then also contributed to this project. Together with my good friend Karyn , we would often meet for tea and biscuits. I so loved our gatherings.
