I am always surprised when people ask me who it was that made this piece. This piece was crafted by my Father. First and foremost my Father is a craftsman. I worked with my Father in carpentry for ten years. I owe my work ethic to the stellar example he set before me. My Father taught me to respect my tools, to always be prepared for the job, and to clean the work site when the job is done. I am grateful for the skills I have learned from my Father for they have prepared me well for my journey in this life.

My parents have always been very supportive of my endeavors. When I announced my intentions for this project both my Mother and my Father were intrigued. Even my then teenage Sister followed suite in creating her own puzzle piece portrait.
