Production note;
Will probably composite front image with focused image of wire, 3/4 views to come.

I met Mie through my friend Eric, who had in turn met Mie in one of his many visits to Japan. When I first met Mie at a party at Eric's apartment, she was excited about a new hat. Looking for an opportunity to practice her English skills, Mie introduced herself to me while displaying this hat. Obeying a sense of humour known only to myself, I pretended to misunderstand and proceeded to walk away wearing the hat. Mie was very confused and after consulting Eric in Japanese, came running after me shouting; "Hey, strange man, give me back my hat!"

Mie is about the sweetest, most considerate human I have had the pleasure to know. A real dear, with mad skillz in the professional make-up and special effects field.

This piece features a 1 1/2" wire forming the essence of the conji of her name. If I recall correctly, Mie as written with this conji means "beautiful habour." Although I have inquired about the smaller characters on the front of the piece, I am not certain their significance.
